Nicole da Roza

nicole_headshot.jpgNicole da Roza’s dancing experience began back in 2001. She first discovered her passion when she joined her high school’s color guard and winter guard program. Through this program the basics of ballet and jazz were taught, while being exposed to a whole other side of life, including hard work, dedication and a built in family. The following year, she decided to join her high school varsity dance team while continuing guard. Right before her senior year of high school, Nicole moved to Reno which only further helped her winter guard career. She joined an independent group named Summit and had the opportunity to travel to California for weekly competitions and Ohio for World Championships. Through Summit choreographers, she met Lindsey Christensen and Genevieve Delage (who at the time were WNP members). She since then has become involved with the TMCC dance program and performed for several ARTowns through Summit and the school. On top of taking modern dance classes under a favorite teacher Diane Rugg, Nicole has been able to perform for many dance concerts and hopes to further better herself by taking choreography as well. She is currently a full time Journalism student and minoring in dance. It is her first year being a part of Wing and a Prayer and she hopes it won’t be her last.
