Angela K. Ritchie
Angela K. Ritchie is a native of Truckee, CA and has been dancing since she was age 11. She has been blessed with opportunities to dance with many individuals, companies, and studios: Sierra Nevada Dance, the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, The Keshet Modern Dance Company, Santa Barbara City College, The Montecito School of Ballet, The 9th Annual Summer Dance Intensive with the Jose Limon Dance Company, TMCC, UNR, and In Theory of CPAC. She has also performed with the UNR Dance Theatre production of Movements In Truth for two seasons of ArTown, Opus Originals Dancing in the Park Series, and most recently, participated as both performer and choreographer in an collaborative art project at the Nevada Museum of Art, The Pursuit of Happiness. In the Fall of 2007, Angela was largely involved in the production of the 2nd Annual Student Choreographer’s Showcase at TMCC. Angela is enjoying her 5th season with Wing and A Prayer, as well as, her continued explorations as teacher, choreographer, and being. Angela graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in December 2004 and is currently continuing her training in veterinary assisting and animal advocacy.
